My name is Parbatie Maharaj (Meera). I am originally from the island of Trinidad and Tobago, where I taught for seven years in the public school. I migrated to the USA, where I taught Pre-K and Montessori for eighteen years. Currently, I am an IRR paraprofessional at New Manchester Elementary School and have been there for the past seven years. My motto, "If something was never learned, then it was never taught."
