Mrs. Francis

What I love most about teaching is getting to hear each student’s individual story.  Understanding who they are, their experiences, and their unique personalities allows me to better connect with them and tailor instruction to fit their learning styles. I believe every child learns differently, and it is my responsibility to help each student grow into a confident, lifelong learner.

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is building meaningful relationships not only with students, but also with their parents and siblings. Creating those connections helps foster a strong sense of trust, support, and community both inside and outside of the classroom. Seeing their achievements, confidence, and personal growth over their years is very rewarding.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women. I would later earn a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from University of West GA. I hold both a Reading and Gifted Endorsement from Metro Resa.

I am a proud wife, mom, and grandmother.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
